The tunic is very stylish and the fabric is fabulous but the design of the armholes are a problem. The arm holes are so big I needed to have the top altered so it would fit better. I didn't want to wear a camisole and when I raised my arm or turned to the side, my skin and bra were exposed.Norma Kamali. Always has been one of my favorite designers....bought three dresses one for me and two for giftsI am familiar with this brand, its sizing and its versatility in design (when you can figure out the different vays to wear some of these Kamali dresses.) As the name of the dress suggests, this is a version of the all in one dress, but short dolman sleeved. It is meant for the wearer if they wish, to pull one sleeve (while wearing it the normal way) over the head to the other side so you get a half halter style. Or you can do the same with both sides and it looks like a crossed halter. Thus the reason for the deep arm holes. The problem is that if you choose to wear it the normal way, the armholes are indeed very large, on some figures the opening reveals your side (and sometimes side boobs) all the way to the waist. My problem aside from the deep armholes is that 38/M is my usual size in this brand, and this dress tapers slimly as it reaches your knees. So it is a bit clingly for me where it actually creeps up as I walk. I ordered the 40/L and am waiting to see if it fits a bit more relaxed below the waist to where it stays down. The only fear is that the armholes may be even larger than the medium size. If it is but fits well otherwise, I might flaunt the open sides by wearing a metallic bra or bustier. Sometimes you have to emphasize the obvious with a creative solution, and that will be my idea if the fits works otherwise.Had to return this gorgeous dress due to HUGE armholes. Would have to alter or wear a tank u set it. Otherwise it would be a definite keeper. Sad.
